I am a culturally-sensitive licensed mental health counselor whom has been working in the mental health field since 1987. I completed my practicum in the Goodman Psychological Center where I conducted psychological testing, psychological assessments and psychotherapy. I have worked in the public sector which includes jails, prisons, schools, in-patient and out-patient settings and in private practice.
I have expertise in conducting mental health assessments, psychotherapy, couple counseling, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, group therapy, cross cultural counseling, and immigration psychological evaluations for the extreme hardship waiver, U-Visa, political asylum, and VAWA.
I am a graduate from Albizu University. I have a Master's Degree in Psychology and I have completed all my doctoral coursework.
I have a passion for helping people and couples who are hurting, going through emotional issues and struggling with their life.
